Previous issues explained that ceasefires between enemies who were not defeated just create pauses for rearming. Now those pauses are ending.

Russia told the United States to stop escalating conflict with Venezuela. Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said Russia is very worried as tensions keep rising. Russia signed a strategic partnership with Venezuela. Russia stands shoulder to shoulder with Venezuela and hopes Trump will stop pushing toward full war.
