Trump's National Security Strategy warned Europe faces civilizational erasure. Days after release, Defense One reported a longer unpublished version had circulated in Washington. The unreleased version reportedly stated the United States should work more with Austria, Hungary, Italy, and Poland with goal of pulling them away from the European Union. It also said the United States should support parties and movements that seek sovereignty and restoration of traditional European ways of life while remaining pro American. The White House denied any alternative version exists. When leaked strategy documents explain plans to break apart alliances while official versions omit those details, the real agenda is not what gets published. The real agenda is what gets denied.

North Korea sent troops to clear mines in Russia's Kursk region, leader Kim Jong Un said in a speech. Nine members of the engineering regiment died during the 120 day deployment that started in August. Kim awarded the deceased state honors. He said troops displayed mass heroism overcoming mental and physical burdens. Images showed Kim embracing returned soldiers, some injured and in wheelchairs. When North Korean troops clear minefields in Russia while their leader holds public ceremonies honoring the dead, those deployments are not limited engineering missions. Those are combat operations building infrastructure for offensives that need cleared ground to advance.

US special forces raided a cargo ship traveling from China to Iran in November. The team boarded the ship several hundred miles from Sri Lanka and seized cargo described as dual use components that could make conventional weapons. The ship's name, owner, and flag were not disclosed. The raid was part of Pentagon effort to disrupt Iran's military procurement following the June war when the US and Israel bombed Iranian nuclear sites. The seizure came weeks before US troops seized a Venezuelan oil tanker. Iran seized a foreign flagged oil tanker in Gulf of Oman and detained crew for allegedly smuggling six million liters of fuel. When American commandos board foreign vessels in international waters, seize cargo, and refuse to disclose basic details, those are not law enforcement operations. Those are acts of war being conducted without declarations.
